South Burlington Electricity Usage (2010 - 2015)
Efficiency Vermont collects electricity usage data from utilities. This data allows us to see trends in electricity consumption and savings, as well as the number of customers served by the Home Performance with Energy Star program.
South Burlington Electricity Consumption (2010 - 2015)
From 2010 to 2015, total electricity consumption decreased 7.3% (-16,872,984 kWh), largely as a result of a decrease in commercial and industrial sector electricity consumption (which decreased 8.0%, -14,142,578 kWh). Commercial and industrial electricity consumption was equal to 76.8% of total electricity consumption in 2015.
South Burlington Electricity Savings (2010 - 2015)
Total electricity savings decreased 8.8% (615,468 kWh) from 2010 to 2015. Residential electricity savings were 20% higher in 2015 than they were in 2010.
Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Customers Served With Efficiency Programs (2010-2015)
From 2010 to 2015, a total of 112 Home Performance with Energy Star residential customers were served in South Burlington, while 994 commercial and industrial customers were served.
